Energy Practice and Conscious Transformation

Energy is the chakra system, the aura, particularly the astral aspect of the subtle bioelectromagnetic body. This is a very powerful way to get control of your mind, your feelings, your clarity, and your love. This is kind of the big secret. I think a lot of people do not realize this possibility, that you can shift your state of mind through astral energy practice.

If you want to get your power up, deepen your lucidity, transmute your state of mind into something more than it has perhaps been since you were a child, and really become somebody different, the same person, but with a different energetic flow and energetic structure, then energy practice is the way.

In other words, it is energy work. That is a word that I have used for many years, but I think practice is a more correct word. I would rather use that. It is a practice.

Once you experience the effects of energy and your practice in energy, you will likely want to do it every day because it is a very powerful thing. It is like somebody who does not eat healthy, and then they eat healthy and feel so much better. Then they just do it. There are so many things in life like that.

Energy is a way to affect the mind. I think there is a really profound realization here. Consider this: the mind is an energy flow. Usually, we think the mind is only in the brain. But there is a whole energy flow. The energy flows in the brain, but how do you feel everywhere? There is a feeling. The aura feels a certain way.

When you cultivate your energy, when you transmute your energy, you enter a different state. Some days you feel magical, and some days you feel heavy and dull. What is the difference? Energy. Energy flow is the difference, or one of the differences.

You might say that a day was bad because you had certain issues. Those issues may have shifted your flow. We have a subtle physical bioelectromagnetic system that is a part of our consciousness. It is what creates our consciousness.

In Chinese medicine, they know this very well. They say that if you have liver qi stagnation, it causes anger. If the spleen is overly active, there is too much thinking. Your stomach is this, your large intestine is this, and you can actually feel the qi moving through these different organs. So it is not just the chakras. It is the whole thing.

You have to be very intuitive about this. You will become aware that something does not feel right, that you need to pamper your energy and attend to it. Most people do not attend to their energy. They think it is just an itch or that it feels funny there. You can do something about it.

If you have a formal practice where you sit down for fifteen minutes, an hour, or two hours a day, and you actually work on it, it is like stretching every day. You have to keep up with it, and you get further along. When you first start stretching, you might be kind of tight. But if you have been doing it regularly, your baseline, your tight version of yourself, is not that tight compared to how you might have been previously. Then you stretch, you get very limber, and you enjoy that for the rest of the day. Then you stretch again, and you get progressively more flexible.

Energy practice is a profound thing. I am not sure how much of society recognizes that you can change how you feel by meditating on your heart chakra, feeling your chakra on one part of the head, another part of the head, or in the middle of the head. There are so many of them.

Subtle Anatomy and Energetic Traditions

The organs have a physical job, but they also have an energetic job. If you become very sensitive, you will notice that your kidneys, for example, or your adrenals, will become tight or sore if you are experiencing fear. These organs have channels that go throughout the legs, hands, and head. They move throughout the body. There is a whole channel for the kidney.

There are different points in the ears that connect to the stomach and different things. Each of these, in traditional Chinese medicine, is associated with a certain dimension. Think of it as a dimension of emotion.

The emotions are in your body. This is what I think is really profound. You can realize that you feel fear, anxiety, or anger, and you can actually move it out and change yourself. So many people are very identified with that. They are angry, they are supposed to be angry, and their whole style is angry style. Their car is angry, and everything is angry.

But we know that we can try on different personalities. We can shift ourselves. That is what this practice is about. We transmute our consciousness until we become enlightened. That is such an enormous transmutation for most people, from the societal norm to an enlightened being.

There are vortices. Think of them as little centers. All the chakras are vortices. They have a location, but the chakras are also connected. If you want to think about it mathematically, it is like vertices and edges of a polyhedron. There is a large tube down through the center in front, and there is a tube in the back. From the side, it makes a little loop. You loop down, back, around, up through the head, and around this loop. There are a whole bunch of points all along that loop, and it is good to attend to them.

Sushumna feels almost like the spine, perhaps a little bit in front of the spine. There is a back part that goes down to the tailbone. It wraps around, and then you come up through the lower abdomen. That is the Sushumna in front. It goes through the neck, but there is also a spot in the back of the neck. These connect. There is a kind of arcing between the Sushumna and the spine. You can connect them, and you want to move through that too.

There are a whole bunch of points. You get to know your own body. A lot of this I know just through my own exploration of my own energy field, and that is really the best thing.

There is qi. We have the energetic vortices, which are the seven chakras or the three dantian, but there are also a lot of little ones that I highly recommend, like secondary ones. Then there are hundreds of other ones too. They are all over your foot, all over your ear, and in all different places.

Qi and kundalini are words that refer to something from different paradigms. One is Taoist, and one is Indian yogic. Each of them describes different qualities. There are different qualities of qi. You might even say that light is sometimes described as a kind of qi, the deepest qi, in a way.

All of this is better when you go into light. But if you cannot go into light, this helps you get into light. Sometimes the chakras are referred to as doorways into the causal planes.

There are all kinds of qi. There is a qi called amrita, which means nectar. It literally feels like very thick molasses that you pull down your spine. Then it gets stuck, and you cannot move it. You wait, move it a little bit, and it moves. It is so much better.

This awakens power, clarity, love, and all kinds of things. A lot of people need a lot of work on their energy body, and it is very important that you keep up with it. Your body and your mind can degrade if you do not keep a buoyant, subtle, luminous body. It is very important.

This is the difference between when you look at someone and recognize that one person is heavy, another is bouncy, and another is bright. There is a different energy flow.

Sometimes they say a child has a perfect subtle physical body. Some children have, when you look at them, a perfect subtle physical body. Everything is flowing. Just boom, wonderful, beautiful. But then somebody in middle school is mean to them, and something gets a little stagnated. A girlfriend does something, and something gets stagnated. Then they just keep carrying around these impressions from the past.

But you can be eighty, forty, ninety, or whatever age and go and clear and renew yourself. It is just so important. On a tough day, when you are not sure what else to do, just start doing it.

The Sefirot are also related to this. In the Jewish paradigm, they have a bunch of chakras, and you can meditate on these as well. They overlap, but they are a little bit different. There is the Chinese paradigm, the yogic paradigm, and the Jewish paradigm. Christianity talks about it too. Really, they are just describing the subtle biological body.

Nadi are astral tubes. Yoga and Ayurveda are both Indian energy practices. Yoga is the four paths of yoga, but in a way, this is an aspect of kundalini yoga, Raja Yoga, and Kriya Yoga. They are energy practices.

Guided Energy Practice

The first thing to do is feel your whole body and soften your whole energy. Feel the heart center right in the center of the chest. Just a gentle feeling. Once we soften our field, we are setting ourselves up for the energy practice.

It is good to invoke gentleness, which is the antithesis of resistance and opens the energy to flow. Take a deep breath.

Start with the third eye. Do ten pulses. This is just one approach to it. It is a little bit more structured than perhaps it needs to be, but maybe that is really helpful. Give the third eye ten little pulses. What you are doing is flexing your third eye. On the tenth one, hold it for a moment. Release and let go. Then feel the momentum of those pulses. Enjoy the residual effects.

Move to the chakra right on top of the head, the very top and the middle. You can just focus there and see if you can feel it. Give it your attention with pulses of intensity. If you can flex it and magnify it, even better. Do ten. On the last one, release. Just enjoy it. Feel the momentum.

Go a little bit behind the top of the head, literally an inch or an inch and a half, on the baby’s soft spot area. There is a point, and you will feel it, a tender point. This is a secondary point. You will recognize it as significant. Try to feel that there is a vortex up there. It has its own location. Do ten pulses and hold the last one. Take note of the third eye and the Bindu.

In the back of the head, right below the bump of the skull, is what is usually called the Shiva Granthi. Pulse that point ten times.

There is a spot right in the middle of the brain. You can feel that it is between the third eye and the spot we just did. Try to find the point, right in the front of the brain, underneath the crown chakra. You can feel that the spot connects to the third eye, crown, and Shiva Granthi. Pulse that point ten times.

Go to the back of the neck. Find a point that feels significant on the back of the neck, perhaps right in the middle. There may be a couple. Choose one of them. Pulse the point ten times, hold, and release.

Now try to pull the energy down from the back of the head, almost like a little waterfall, nectar, or perhaps something more etheric, just light moving down. Try to get the spot in the spine to move. Move it down to the back of the heart. Take ten little pulls.

Move from the back of the head all the way down through the back of the neck to the back of the heart. It might be a slow movement. You might get stuck in one spot. Give it more attention. There should be a sense of connection between the back of the head and the back of the heart.

Focus on the back of the heart. This is where a warm, loving back rub feels good from a friend if you need a little love. That is the spot. Give it ten pulses.

Right at the bottom of the ribs, directly behind that, there is another spot, the back of the solar plexus. It is maybe three inches lower. Push the energy from the spot you just felt down into that part of the spine, connecting with the amrita. It should feel like honey, nectar, or molasses.

You also might be connecting with something more etheric, just the light. That is fine too. Keep pulsing it down. Release any stagnation energetically.

Try to feel an inch or two behind the back. The energy exists in the body, but also outside of it. Take that energy behind the heart and let it not be so confined to the physical spine. Reach back a bit. You can reach back a foot or two, opening up the aura in the reverse direction.

Do ten pulses on the back of the solar plexus point. Hold it. Release.

Push the energy from the back of the solar plexus all the way down to the small of the back, the lower lumbar area. Not the tailbone, but that sensitive area. Pulse the energy down. It is one of the most pleasant ones, in my sense. It is quite a big movement for the amrita, from the middle back to the lower back.

Pulse the lower back ten times. Behind the heart is called the Vishnu Granthi. This is called the Brahma Granthi. Hold the final pulse. Release.

Go all the way down to the tailbone. Do not pulse this. Just feel it for a moment, and let the energy drop down from the granthi into the tailbone. Make sure there is a connection in the channel.

Move to the point right in the middle, underneath your pelvis. Give it ten pulses. Hold. Release.

Move through the channel from the perineum up to the base of the genitals. Make sure there is a connection. Then begin pulsing on the second chakra, at the base of the genitals. Notice the connection between this spot and the lower back. There is a connection moving through the body. Get that connection moving and active.

Move up from the second chakra to an inch or so below the belly button, in the lower abdominals. This is the third chakra, Manipura, willpower. Give it ten pulses.

Move to the belly button, right on the belly button. You do not have to pulse this. Just feel it.

Move up about two inches to that spot in the middle abdomen where you could get the wind knocked out of you if you hit yourself there too hard. There is a sensitive spot there. Feel that spot. A lot of stress can be stored here.

Move up to a spot about one or two inches below the ribs. It is a similar spot. Feel the spot. Clear the spot.

Move up to the spot right below the ribs. This is called the Hrit chakra. With these, you kind of push the energy out, forward. It comes out of the body. Try to feel it in that way.

Move up to the heart chakra. There are multiple spots in the heart chakra you can meditate on. Pulse the heart chakra ten times and hold.

Focus into the light. The doors are open. Keep holding. Just focus into the light. See the gold. Feel the heart chakra.

Staying centered in the light, in the heart, move the energy up the throat, through the back of the throat, the roof of the mouth, out the nose, and into the two front teeth.

Take a moment and feel the third eye, crown, Bindu, Shiva Granthi, the back of the neck, Vishnu Granthi, the back of the solar plexus, the lower back, Brahma Granthi, tailbone, perineum, second chakra, navel, all of them.

Glow like a statue made of gold. Just center in your heart. Come out of the meditation when you are ready.

Reflections on the Meditation

There is a lot in the spine. It is a great thing to practice. I am being extremely intuitive, so this is what feels right to me, even going in this direction. Explore it and see what feels right for you.

Sometimes they say to do it another way. I like the energy to rise. Sometimes I go down on both sides, and sometimes I go up on both sides, so it really depends. Oftentimes, to clear, it feels like you have to go down, for me.

Get to know your energy body and refine it. It changes over the years, so you might recognize that now you have changed, and now you need something else.

Energy Practice and Conscious Transformation

Adam Wes Welcome, everybody. We'll wait another minute to see if anybody else arrives.

All right. Namaste. Welcome, everybody. Andrea, will you join us on camera? How are you? Hi, Mom. Hi, Ariella. Hi, Jacob. Hi, Andrea. Hi, Dad.

We're missing a couple people. That's okay. Maybe they'll still arrive.

Today, the focus, the sermon, and the meditation are on energy practice. We've talked about energy before. Energy is the chakra system, the aura, particularly the astral aspect of the subtle bioelectromagnetic body.

This is a very powerful way to get control of your mind, your feelings, your clarity, and your love. This is kind of the big secret. I think a lot of people don't realize this possibility, that you can shift your state of mind through astral energy practice.

We've talked about it as theory. We've talked about the different chakras, Sushumna, the centers, and the nadi. But today, we want to talk about it as a practice.

If you want to get your power up, deepen your lucidity, transmute your state of mind into something more than it's perhaps been since you were a child, and really become somebody different, the same person, but with a different energetic flow and energetic structure, then energy practice is the way.

In other words, it's energy work. That's a word that I've used for many years, but I think "practice" is a more correct word. I would rather use that. It's a practice.

You might say, "Well, that day was bad because I had these issues." Those issues may have shifted your flow. We have a subtle physical bioelectromagnetic system that is a part of our consciousness. It is what creates our consciousness.

In Chinese medicine, they know this very well. They say that if you have liver qi stagnation, it causes anger. If the spleen is overly active, there's too much thinking. Dad, that's a good one for you. I recommend stretching as well. Stretching is important.

But energy practice is a profound thing. I'm not sure how much of society recognizes that you can change how you feel by meditating on your heart chakra, feeling your chakra here on this part of the head, this part of the head, this part of the head, or in the middle of the head. There are so many of them.

Today, we're going to have an extra-long meditation. We're going to have an extra-long energy practice, and I'm going to guide all of you through a sequence.

Any questions? I'd love it if you'd ask some questions or make some comments about this. We can have a little discussion before we get started.

Subtle Anatomy and Energetic Traditions

Jacob Adam, you were talking about the way that you feel based on the actual organ functions in your body, like the spleen. Could you repeat that again?

Adam Wes Yeah. The organs have a physical job, but they also have an energetic job. If you become very sensitive, you'll notice that your kidneys, for example, or your adrenals, will become tight or sore if you're experiencing fear.

For me, it's so crazy that if I have a thought, I'll start limping. Then, three minutes later, I'll clear it, and I won't be limping anymore. It's like, "Whoa!" That would connect to my organs because these organs have channels that go throughout the legs, hands, and head. They move throughout the body. There's a whole channel for the kidney.

There are different points in the ears that connect to the stomach and different things. Each of these, in traditional Chinese medicine, is associated with a certain dimension. Think of it as a dimension of emotion.

Oh, David's here. Nice.

The emotions are in your body. This is what I think is really profound. For any of you here who really, really receive this, namaste, David, and think about this, it could change your life.

You can realize, "Oh, I feel fear, anxiety, anger, or this, and I can actually move it out and change myself." So many people are very identified with that. They're like, "Oh, I'm angry. I'm supposed to be angry. My whole style is angry style." Their car is angry, and everything is angry, right?

But we know that we can try on different personalities. We can shift ourselves. That's what this practice is about. We transmute our consciousness until we become enlightened, right? That's such an enormous transmutation for most people, from the societal norm to an enlightened being.

In Chinese medicine, if you ever have acupuncture, the needles can really help you clear the energy in the organs and purify it. I highly recommend acupuncture. I've been getting acupuncture for 12 years from two extremely talented acupuncturists. I highly recommend acupuncture for changing your life, really. It's also about health.

Does that answer your question, Jacob, or do you have any comments?

Jacob I'm still digesting, but thank you. I loved every single bit of it.

Adam Wes Wonderful, wonderful. When it comes to what you do, I'm always trying to say, "Be here. Make time for the hour." This is a very leveraged thing. This could make your sessions better, lead to more sessions, and affect all kinds of things because when you do the energy work, you have more clarity. Who you are is different, so your decisions are different. Your presence is different.

Yes? Hi, Mom.

Colleen Hi. I was going to say to Jacob that I just looked up traditional energy systems in the body, and if you read it, it's what Adam's telling you. There's a whole lot to read about.

Jacob Thank you.

Adam Wes Yeah, you can go and get a whole degree in this, actually.

The organs are part of it. Let's go through this. There are vortices. Think of them as little centers. All the chakras are vortices. They have a location, right? But the chakras are also connected.

If you want to think about it mathematically, it's like vertices and edges of a polyhedron. They're connected. There's a large tube down through the center in front, and there's a tube in the back. From the side, it makes a little loop. You loop down, back, around, up through the head, and around this loop. There are a whole bunch of points all along that loop, and it's good to attend to them.

Colleen When you talk about the, how do you say it? Sush?

Adam Wes Sushumna.

Colleen That's the central channel running along your spine through which spiritual energy is believed to flow upward.

Adam Wes You're reading that? I would say that Sushumna is not along the spine. It's in the front. It goes through the chakras, and there's a back part. I don't know what that is called. I'm not even sure what that's called.

It feels almost like the spine, perhaps a little bit in front of the spine. It's basically in the back, and it goes down to the tailbone. It wraps around, and then you come up through the lower abdomen. That's the Sushumna in front.

It goes through the neck, but there's also a spot in the back of the neck. These connect. There's a kind of an arcing between the Sushumna and the spine. You can connect them, and you want to move through that too.

There are a whole bunch of points. You get to know your own body. A lot of this I know just through my own exploration of my own energy field, and that's really the best thing.

Colleen That's the qi, the energy that's flowing through, right?

Adam Wes Yes. Thank you for that. There's qi. We have the energetic vortices, which are the seven chakras or the three dantian, but there are also a lot of little ones that I highly recommend, like secondary ones. Then there are hundreds of other ones too.

There are ones here and here, like where you would get acupuncture needles. They're all over your foot, all over your ear, and in all different places.

But if you can't go into light, this helps you get into light. Sometimes the chakras are referred to as doorways into the causal planes.

There are all kinds of qi. There's a qi called amrita, which means nectar. It literally feels like very thick molasses that you pull down your spine. Then it gets stuck, and you're like, "Okay, it's stuck there. I can't move it." Then you kind of wait, move it a little bit, and it moves. You're like, "It's so much better."

This awakens power, clarity, love, and all kinds of things. A lot of people need a lot of work on their energy body, and it's very important that you keep up with it. Your body and your mind can degrade if you don't keep a buoyant, subtle, luminous body. It's very important.

This is the difference between when you look at someone and you're like, "Whoa, that person's heavy, and that person's bouncy. That person's bright." There's a different energy flow.

Sometimes they say a child has a perfect subtle physical. My Paramguru used to say that.

But you can be 80, 40, 90, or whatever age and go and clear and renew yourself. It's just so important. On a tough day, when you're not sure what else to do, just start doing it.

Jacob Thank you, Adam.

Adam Wes Thanks, Colleen. Mom.

I'm sure there's a name for the spine tube. They're all called nadi. Nadi are astral tubes.

Okay, we're going to go through it. Wonderful. Andrea, what do you think? Oh, she's kind of in a meditation. Sorry, you don't have to stop.

Ariella, what do you think?

AriellaShira L I think I'm learning a lot. I think it makes a lot of sense to me.

Adam Wes The Sefirot, if I'm saying it correctly, are also related to this. I know you're into the Jewish paradigm. In the Jewish paradigm, they actually have a bunch of chakras, and you can meditate on these as well. They overlap, but they're a little bit different in the Jewish paradigm.

There's the Chinese paradigm, the yogic paradigm, and the Jewish paradigm. I think even Christianity talks about it. Well, I know it does. Christianity has them. Really, they're just describing the subtle biological body.

Colleen Did you say the nadi system?

Adam Wes Nadi.

Colleen What is it?

Adam Wes Nadi.

Colleen How do you say that?

Adam Wes Nadi.

Colleen It's Ayurvedic.

Adam Wes Yep, it's related to that. Yoga and Ayurveda are both Indian energy practices. Yoga is the four paths of yoga, but in a way, this is an aspect of kundalini yoga, Raja Yoga, and Kriya Yoga. They're energy practices.

All right. Did that answer your question, Lon? I love that you're reading up on it, sweetie.

Guided Energy Practice

All right, let's pick some good music for it. We're getting started a little earlier. We'll do a half hour. Set alarms.

All right. The first thing to do is just feel your whole body and soften your whole energy. Let's start with this.

Feel the heart center right in the center of the chest. Just a gentle feeling. Once we soften our field, we're setting ourselves up for the energy practice.

It's good to invoke gentleness, which is the antithesis of resistance and opens the energy to flow. Take a deep breath.

First, let's start with the third eye. We're going to do ten pulses. This is just one approach to it. It's a little bit more structured than perhaps it needs to be, but maybe that's really helpful.

Ten little pulses on the third eye. I'll start with the frequency, and you can finish all ten on your own. One, two, three.

What you're doing is flexing your third eye.

On the tenth one, hold it for a moment. Release and let go. Then just feel the momentum of those pulses. Just enjoy the residual effects.

Let's move to the chakra right on top of the head, the very top and the middle. I'm going to try to pulse. You could just focus there and see if you can feel it. That's one thing you can do.

Just give it your attention with pulses of intensity. If you can flex it and magnify it, even better. One, two, three. Do ten.

On the last one, release. Just enjoy it. Feel the momentum.

Okay, next, go a little bit behind the top of the head, literally an inch or an inch and a half, on the baby's soft spot area. There's a point, and you'll feel it, a tender point. This is a secondary point.

It's about an inch or an inch and a half back. You'll recognize it as significant. Try to feel that there's a vortex up there. It has its own location.

All right, let's do our ten. One, two. Hold the last one.

Just take note of the third eye and the Bindu. That's what I usually call it.

All right. In the back of the head, right below the bump of the skull back there, is what's usually called the Shiva Granthi. Ready? One.

There's a spot right in the middle of the brain. You can feel it's between the third eye and the spot we just did. Try to find the point, right in the front of the brain, underneath the crown chakra. In fact, you can feel that the spot connects to the third eye, crown, and the Shiva Granthi. That's different. We'll see. One. Keep going.

Okay, let's go to the back of the neck. Find a point that feels significant on the back of the neck. There are a couple, perhaps right in the middle. I'm feeling two different ones right now. Let's just do one of them. One, two. Great. Hold.

Release. Here's a little bit of a new technique. Try to pull the energy down from the back of the head, almost like a little waterfall, nectar, or perhaps something more etheric, just light moving down.

Try to get the spot in the spine to move. Move it down to the back of the heart. Take a few little pulls, maybe ten pulls. In fact, let's do that.

It's going to move from the back of the head all the way down through the back of the neck to the back of the heart. It might be a slow movement. You might get stuck in one spot. Give it more attention.

Okay, there should be a sense of connection between the back of the head and the back of the heart.

Let's focus on the back of the heart. This is where a warm, loving back rub feels good from a friend if you need a little love. That's the spot. Ten pulses. Ready? Go.

Right at the bottom of the ribs, directly behind that, there's another spot, the back of the solar plexus. I'd say it's maybe three inches lower.

The first thing we want to do is push the energy from the spot we just did. Push it down into that part of the spine, connecting with the amrita. It should feel like honey, nectar, or molasses.

You also might be connecting with something more etheric, just the light. That's fine too. Keep pulsing it down. Release any stagnation energetically.

I'll stay with this one for a minute or so. It's very powerful. We're doing some advanced techniques here, but I think it's okay.

Try to feel an inch or two behind the back. The energy exists in the body, but also outside of it. We want to take that energy behind the heart and have it not be so confined to the physical spine.

Let's reach back a bit. You can reach back a foot or two, even, opening up the aura in the reverse direction.

Okay, wonderful. Let's do ten pulses on the back of the solar plexus point. One, two, three. Keep going. Okay, hold it. Release.

Now, again, push the energy from the back of the solar plexus all the way down to the small of the back, the lower back area, like the lower lumbar area. Not the tailbone, but that sensitive area.

Pulse the energy down. It's one of the most pleasant ones, in my sense. It's quite a big movement for the amrita, from the mid-back to the lower back.

All right, let's do the pulsing on the lower back now. Behind the heart is called the Vishnu Granthi. This is called the Brahma Granthi. One, two, three. Keep going. Hold. Release. Nice.

Okay, now we're getting back to... No, actually, let's do the tailbone. Go all the way down to the tailbone.

Ten pulses. Actually, you know what? Don't pulse this. I'm sensing that's not supposed to be. Just feel it for a moment, and make sure to let the energy drop down from the granthi into the tailbone. Make sure there's a connection in the channel.

Now we're doing the point right in the middle, underneath your pelvis. Let's do ten pulses. One, two. Hold. Release.

Now we move through the channel from the perineum, which is where we are right now, up to the base of the genitals. Make sure there's a connection.

Then begin the pulsing on the second chakra, at the base of the genitals. One, two.

Here's an interesting thing to do. Notice the connection between this spot and the lower back. There's a connection moving through the body. Get that connection moving and active.

All right. Move up from the second chakra to an inch or so below the belly button, in the lower abdominals. This is the third chakra, Manipura, willpower. Begin pulsing. Keep going. One, two, three.

Now the belly button, right on the belly button. You don't have to pulse this. Just feel it. Wonderful.

Move up about two inches to that spot in the mid-abdomen where you could get the wind knocked out of you if you hit yourself there too hard. There's a sensitive spot there. Feel that spot.

We're not going to do the pulsing this time, just to save time. Feel the spot. A lot of stress can be stored here.

Move up to a spot about one or two inches below the ribs. It's a similar spot. Feel the spot. Clear the spot.

Move up to the spot right below the ribs. This is called the Hrit chakra. Interestingly, with these, you kind of push the energy out, forward. It comes out of the body. Try to feel it in that way.

Okay, let's move up. I'll just go another five seconds.

Move up to the heart chakra. There are multiple spots in the heart chakra you can meditate on. Let's pulse. One, two. Hold.

Come out of the meditation when you're ready.

Reflections on the Meditation

All right. Colleen, how was that for you?

Colleen It was very nice. It was different because normally, when I start, I see red. Today, I saw a lot of green, green, green, green for about five minutes. I was trying to concentrate on what I was seeing. Then here it got reddish orange, and in the back it got very purple, very purple.

Then I kind of got a mixture of colors all together. But at one point, it looked like I was looking at a white painted wall.

Adam Wes Hmm.

Colleen It was a little bit different. Then I get into a relaxed state with the music, and I can't always hear what you're saying. I just dream, whatever happens to me. It was nice and relaxing. Thank you.

Adam Wes Wonderful. You're welcome. I think it's interesting that you saw white because...

Colleen Just for a short time, but it was.

Adam Wes Well, it's interesting because you went through all these different spots. It's like you mixed all the colors together, and you saw white. It's really interesting. You're always quite aligned with whatever the practice is.

Colleen Very nice. Thank you.

Adam Wes Namaste. Andrea, would you like to share?

Andrea P It's funny. Can you hear me well? I'm in a Starbucks.

Adam Wes Okay.

Andrea P It's funny that we did this practice just now because I have been so tense that I cannot breathe. This opened me, so it's perfect.

Adam Wes Good, good, good. Maybe there's something in the stars because I've been feeling some tenseness myself. That's why I was like, "Okay, take control of the situation. You do it with this." Maybe do some solar plexus meditation. That can really help.

Andrea P Yeah. I was also thinking that when I work on my chakras, the lower ones are inside. When I work on the heart chakra, I always feel it outside. It was funny that you mentioned that.

Adam Wes Yeah, the heart one really goes like this, but the navel can do it too. They can all go forward, but maybe your heart is extra powerful. Eventually, you want to open them like that.

That's what I was feeling happening with me. Then these ones start to come forward to the solar plexus. They're clearing. That's what they're doing. They're like a valve clearing the energy.

Thank you, Andrea. Namaste. Good job, Andrea. Wonderful.

Ariella, would you like to briefly share, and then we'll get off?

AriellaShira L I know you don't like me to use the word "spaced out," but I don't know where I was.

Adam Wes Okay.

AriellaShira L But I came to, and we were down at the solar plexus. Where did you start?

Adam Wes We started on the third eye.

AriellaShira L So I wasn't conscious.

Adam Wes Okay, that's fine.

She missed all of these back-to-navel centers. That's funny. Well, we know how long you were spaced out. That was the majority of it.

AriellaShira L It was quite a long time. Goodness. But I enjoyed the part that I was conscious of.

Adam Wes Wonderful.

AriellaShira L I enjoyed that. The other part must have been very relaxing for me.

Adam Wes Well, if you went into Nirvana, that's very wonderful. You don't have to do the energy work if you're going all the way, if you really are, which would be fantastic. Or it could be some form of total absorption or extreme absorption.

Wonderful. Good job, Ariella. Thank you. Namaste.

AriellaShira L That's true.

Adam Wes David, I'm assuming you don't want to share. Otherwise, you can if you want.

David P Yeah. Do you hear me well?

Adam Wes Yeah, perfectly.

David P I think that this should be your next meditation to upload in Circle.

Adam Wes It's so funny because about five minutes through, I had that thought. I definitely thought of you at the same time because we don't have one like this on Circle, right?

I could actually extend it. We could do a short one. I don't know. As you can see, that took 40 minutes.

David P My Friday morning meditation is going up from the root chakra through all seven chakras.

Adam Wes And you do that every Friday?

David P Yeah, every Friday.

Adam Wes Fantastic. I love the consistency. That's great.

David P This is the first time that I went around the back. It was new. I liked it, and I could drive my consciousness down. I did feel it a bit dense, more dense.

Adam Wes There's a lot in the spine. It's a great thing to practice. I'm being extremely intuitive, so this is what feels right to me, even going in this direction. Explore it and see what feels right for you.

Sometimes they say to do it another way. I like the energy to rise. Sometimes I go down on both sides, and sometimes I go up on both sides, so it really depends. Oftentimes, to clear, it feels like you have to go down, for me.

David P I liked it anyway. It makes sense for me also to go back and then up.

Adam Wes Yeah, right? Explore that. Get to know your energy body and refine it. It changes over the years, so you might be like, "Now I've changed. Now I need something else."

David P Thank you.

Adam Wes You're welcome. Namaste.

Thank you, everybody. Nice to see you. Good job today. I'll see you soon.

David P Thank you. Bye.

Bye-bye.

Study Guide

The lesson explored how attending to the subtle energy body can affect the mind, emotions, clarity, love, and presence. It introduced subtle anatomy and guided students through an intuitive practice of softening, pulsing energetic points, clearing stagnation, connecting channels, and centering in the heart.

Theme of the Lesson

Energy practice is a way to transmute consciousness by attending to, clearing, and refining the subtle energy body.

Key Points
  • The mind is an energy flow, and energy practice can shift the state of mind, feelings, clarity, and love.
  • The subtle physical bioelectromagnetic system includes the chakras, aura, organs, channels, nadi, and Sushumna.
  • The organs have both physical and energetic functions, and emotions can be felt in the body.
  • Stagnation and impressions from the past can affect energetic flow, but the energy body can be cleared and renewed.
  • A formal practice helps establish a more buoyant, subtle, luminous baseline.
  • Gentleness softens resistance and opens the energy to flow.
  • The guided practice moved through points in the head, neck, spine, back, pelvis, abdomen, heart, and throat.
  • Pulsing, holding, releasing, and connecting points can help clear stagnation and open the channels.
  • The energy exists within the body and also extends into the aura.
  • Practice is intuitive. Energy may rise or move down to clear, depending on what feels right.
  • The energy body changes over time, so the practice may also change.
  • The practice centers in the light and in the heart.
Assignment

Spend time getting to know your own energy body. Soften the whole field, invoke gentleness, attend to the energetic points and channels that feel significant, and notice where energy flows or feels stagnant. Explore intuitively, clear what can be cleared, and return to the light of the heart.

Actionable Focus for the Week
  • Awareness of how the whole body and aura feel.
  • Gentleness as the field softens and resistance releases.
  • Attention to the heart center, solar plexus, spine, and other points that feel significant.
  • Recognition of places where energy feels tight, heavy, dull, or stagnant.
  • The felt connections between points in the front and back of the body.
  • Whether energy naturally needs to rise or move down to clear.
  • Centering in the light and in the heart.
Optional Reflection Prompts
  • What do you notice when you gently attend to your energy?
  • Where does the energy feel open, and where does it feel stagnant?
  • What feels right for your energy body now?
